The Payments Senior Manager will play a key role in driving the success of PayPal's Card and Bank Platform by creating, measuring, and suggesting improvements to key performance indicators (KPIs). This individual will support the local Head of Payments on specific projects with both acquirers and financial partners to foster positive relationships and drive new business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and Track KPIs: Develop measurable KPIs that guide decision-making for the Card and Bank Platform, track specific KPIs, and monitor their effectiveness.
- Process Improvement: Suggest improvements to current processes and track local and global industry trends.
- Operations and Chargeback Management: Monitor operations and chargeback processes with domestic partners.
- Project Execution: Keep track of several project executions and partner with the Customer Service and Sales team to support daily operations.
- Partner Contract Management: Manage partner contracts and business relationships.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage in cross-functional activities with legal, operations, technology, finance, commercial, and other teams.
- Business Development: Constantly pursue business development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Education: Senior student or graduate in Business Administration, Finance, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
- Skills: Strong analytical background, proven project management experience, SQL, Excel, and passion for technological developments, Big Data & Analytics, and Payments.
- Personal Qualities: Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment, strong oral and written communication skills.
