Procurement Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team at Sensata Technologies, Inc. as a Buyer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the supply chain team in maintaining optimal inventory levels of materials used on a regular basis.
- Responsible for the timely and accurate filling of purchase orders.
- Review all purchasing requisitions to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement an efficient monitoring system to track inventory levels and sales performance.
- Enter data into databases or other computerized systems to maintain up-to-date supplier and vendor information, track purchases and order status, and generate purchasing reports and statistics.
- Conduct research on potential suppliers and vendors to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Requirements:
- University degree in a relevant field (e.g. business, supply chain management, logistics) or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing tasks and demands.
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills to achieve results.
- Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity.
- Ability to hold self-accountable for achieving goals and standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization, including suppliers and external customers.
