Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Plating Process Engineer to lead our plating operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the activities of plating support personnel, planning plating chemical consumption, and initiating consumption reduction activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise activities of plating support personnel, including Chemical Analysts and Haz-Mat handlers.
- Plan plating chemical consumption and initiate consumption reduction activities.
- Lead yield and quality improvement projects.
- Create and execute training plans for Chemical analysis and troubleshooting.
- Perform equipment and instrument buy-off and commissioning.
- Update procedures, specifications, and other related documents.
- Ensure audit readiness of controls, instruments, and documents.
- Ensure 5S compliance of chemical laboratory, chemical storage, and work areas.
- Lead area cluster projects such as 6-STEPS.
- Improve and maintain control limits, DI, and Cpk.
- Create Purchase Specifications for raw materials and new equipment.
Requirements:
- Master's/Graduate degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
- Advanced conversational and written English.
- Experience in electrolytic plating process.
- Knowledgeable in FMEA, Control Plan, and Statistics.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Experience in plating chemical analysis and safe handling of hazardous chemicals.
- Certification in IPC and experience in semiconductor manufacturing an advantage.
