Job DescriptionThis role offers the opportunity to lead a team of accounting professionals in Mexico City, providing expertise in financial operations, process management, and strategic planning.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and period-over-period balance change analyses.
Additionally, the Accounting Manager will review and approve account reconciliations, manage the preparation and review of financial statements, and coordinate external audit activities.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo excel in this role, candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a strong background in process management and team leadership.
An intermediate to advanced level of English fluency is required, as well as proficiency in software applications such as PeopleSoft General Ledger and Excel.
Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per yearBased on industry standards and location, this compensation range reflects the expected remuneration for a senior accounting professional in Mexico City.
