Overview

Aplus Logistics seeks a seasoned Senior Financial Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of financial management, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role involves managing accounting operations, preparing financial statements, and providing strategic support to the finance team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled professional to join our team at Aplus Logistics. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in financial management, preferably as a Supervisor of Accounting, Controller, or Senior Accountant. They will possess a deep understanding of financial procedures, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Oversee all aspects of financial management, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Accounting Operations: Manage accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial standards, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Provide guidance and support to junior accountants and other finance team members, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably as a Supervisor of Accounting, Controller, or Senior Accountant.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and leadership skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
