Key Responsibilities
* Manage a team of program managers who deliver culturally, linguistically, and contextually accurate localized Software, Marketing, and Packaging experiences for supported marketplaces across Amazon Device families.
* Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive the Localization roadmap and ensure seamless delivery.
* Proactively manage change control, remove obstacles, and provide guidance to ensure successful project outcomes.
* Contribute to operational planning, maintain/manage communication with Amazon Devices leadership, and contribute to scaling the Devices Localization program.
About the Team
The Device Software & Services (DS2) Localization (L10n) team is responsible for delivering culturally, linguistically, and contextually accurate localized Software, Marketing, and Packaging experiences for supported marketplaces across Amazon Device families. We scale by investing in tooling, automation, and processes that increase localization efficiency across all supported product lines.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* 5+ years of team management experience
* 5+ years of program or project management experience
* 5+ years of working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
* 5+ years of cross-functional project delivery experience
* Experience owning program strategy and end-to-end delivery
* Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to drive improvements
* Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
* Experience managing, analyzing, and communicating results to senior leadership
* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Translation, Localization Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or Marketing
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience delivering cross-functional projects
* Experience in cost/benefit analysis of project proposals
* Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (macros, pivots, lookups) at an advanced level
