About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Indirect Materials Planner to join our team. As an Indirect Materials Planner, you will be responsible for planning and tracking the procurement of indirect materials, aligned with inventory cost objectives and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and track indirect materials procurement to meet customer requirements and production programs on time and in quantity.
- Monitor materials in transit through confirmation of invoices against purchase orders, with support from the traffic and contractor areas, to ensure timely delivery and avoid production shortages.
- Analyze and define optimal inventory levels and reorder points to avoid overstocking and align costs.
- Manage the addition of indirect materials in SAP P81 to keep the database of existing and required materials up to date.
Requirements
- Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Commerce, Administration, or related field.
- Advanced English language skills.
- Negotiation with suppliers.
- SAP P81 system knowledge.
- Customs regulations and traffic knowledge.
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) skills.
