About Your Role
In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving finished goods from manufacturing and outside vendors, and coordinating the picking, skidding, and labeling of customer orders in a timely manner.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Coordinate all outgoing freight to determine conformance to loading patterns to prevent shifting or damage to material or product during transit.
- Audit to ensure conformance with labeling requirements and accuracy of order shipment.
- Recommend measures to improve shipping and receiving methods, equipment performance, and quality of process.
- Post warehouse daily audit metrics along with corrective actions to avoid repetitive issues.
- Expected to spend a minimum of 70% of working time engaged in coordinating and auditing, 30% in picking and labeling.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required and/or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of two years experience in a warehousing, stockroom, or closely related role required.
- Must have proven skill with warehousing, inventory, and shipping/receiving.
- Proven communication and organizational skills.
- Must be computer literate. Experience with data entry required.
