Electrical Engineer with Expertise in Aerospace and Defense Systems

- This position requires a highly skilled electrical engineer with extensive experience in designing and developing electronic circuits for aerospace and defense display products.">
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hardware architectures, electronic circuit design, PCB layouts, and documentation of design verification and validation procedures.">
- Familiarity with thermal analysis, power, impedance, de-rating, mean-time between failures, and detailed component-level FMEA is essential.">
- Prior experience with VHDL code generation for custom FPGA functionality and C code development for embedded microcontroller-based circuits is required.">
- Proficiency in selecting electronic components for new and existing products, as well as designing and documenting electronic test environments, is necessary.">
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills are crucial for working effectively with suppliers and providing technical guidance for manufacturing circuit assemblies.">
- The successful candidate will also possess the ability to build prototype parts, cables, and test fixtures, create technical documentation, and generate Bill of Materials (BOMs).">
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory, along with at least ten years of experience in this field.">
- Familiarity with high-speed video processing, electromagnetic interference, soldering, and prototyping tools is an asset.">
- Experience with Mentor PADS Schematic and Layout software, IPC Standards, and military & Aerospace standards such as RTCA/DO-160 Environmental Testing and MIL-TSD-810 is beneficial.">
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, computing skills (Windows, Microsoft Office), and bilingual proficiency (Spanish - English) are essential.">
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude are critical for success in this role.">
