Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Controls Engineer to join our team at General Motors. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for analyzing and implementing product or machinery designs for the best method for manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and implement product or machinery designs for the best method for manufacturing processes
  • Propose and evaluate the processes for equipment in assigned area
  • Direct the design, development, and/or improvement of manufacturing processes for assigned area
  • Provide technical support for specific plant operations
  • Interact on a regular basis with design, product and manufacturing engineering staffs
  • Provide direction to engineering support group and vendors
  • Evaluate or monitor expenditures for processes and/or equipment
  • Handle engineering projects with plants and/or Manufacturing Engineering Staffs

Requirements:

  • Ing mecatrónica, robótica or experiencia afin
  • Inglés conversacional fluido
  • Programación de robotos, conocimiento en programación de plc, celdas de automatización
  • Experiencia en procesos de mantenimiento
