About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Transformation Strategist to join our team at AbbVie. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving digital transformation across the affiliate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic leader, providing guidance and consultancy on how the technology ecosystem can drive business outcomes.
  • Lead technology-related decisions at the affiliate, working with Geo Teams and Central Teams to enable capabilities based on the technology roadmap, affiliate needs, and priorities.
  • Contribute actively to affiliate strategy and business capability strategic planning, ensuring integration with the enterprise's strategic planning process and resulting business strategy and plans.
  • Enable the affiliate's digital transformation, maximizing the global ecosystem to drive a stable and optimized technology environment and achieve business outcomes.
  • Identify business needs and opportunities, providing technical solutions to address them while ensuring maximum leverage of global/area available solutions and enhancing business outcomes.
  • Define the affiliate's solutions roadmap, aligning it to GeoTeams and Global priorities, and co-create the development of the affiliate BTS strategic plan at the global, area, and local level.
  • Manage the Application and Project Portfolio of the affiliate, aligning it with the area Geo Teams and Global BTS Organization, identifying efficiencies opportunities, creating and executing strategic initiatives for continuous improvement, tracking and enhancing success metrics, and ensuring operational excellence.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Digital Transformation Strategist who can lead our digital transformation efforts and drive business outcomes. To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of digital transformation, technology ecosystems, and business outcomes.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify business needs and opportunities and provide technical solutions to address them.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
