Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Know Your Customer Manager at Hsbc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring Hsbc's compliance with all relevant regulations and Group policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of analysts in performing their tasks and ensuring timely delivery of files across the end-to-end remediation process.
  • Coordinate with the Line of Business to communicate information or client documentation requirements for the process of renewals.
  • Adhere to compliance and operational risk controls in accordance with the Bank and regulatory standards, including the Bank Secrecy Act requirements.
  • Liaise with the Compliance Management Department as required and provide advice on the requirement for supporting documentation and information.
  • Assist in the production and distribution of relevant Management Information.
  • Ensure that issues are escalated to the KYC Management where appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Know Your Customer with a financial institution or equivalent detailed process.
  • Analytical skills in respect of a wide variety of document types.
  • Familiarity with the Bank Secrecy Act and other Anti-Money Laundering regulatory framework.
  • Very good level of English - minimum C1 as per British Council, other language a plus.
  • Numerical data management and basic knowledge of Excel.
  • Sound knowledge of the wide range and complex variety of fund/corporate structures.
  • Project management basic knowledge.
