As a Junior Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting in the management and execution of various project components to ensure timely completion and adherence to budgetary constraints. Your role involves supporting the management of project scope, costs, schedules, and vendor relationships. You will also prepare status reports for senior management and contribute to projects of moderate complexity under close supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Aids in the development and execution of projects from inception to completion Collaborates with senior management and stakeholders to define project objectives, goals, and deliverables Assists in creating comprehensive project plans and communication documents Regularly updates management on project status and developments Estimates necessary resources and participants to meet project objectives Ensures alignment of project activities with corporate objectives related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost May conduct root cause analysis on project discrepancies, identifying inefficiencies and collaborating with leadership to implement sustainable solutions Prepares and submits budget proposals, recommending adjustments as necessary May engage with other department leaders to secure required personnel Evaluates the need for additional staff or consultants and adjusts staffing as needed throughout the project lifecycle Sets and manages expectations with team members regarding project deliverables Identifies and resolves conflicts and issues within the project team Manages project dependencies and critical paths effectively Plans and schedules project timelines and milestones utilizing appropriate tools Monitors project milestones and deliverables closely May develop and present progress reports, proposals, and requirements documentation Manages changes in project scope, identifies potential risks, and formulates contingency plans

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent experience is required; an Associate's degree is preferred. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a project management role is required; 4 years is preferred, encompassing all facets of process development and execution. Knowledge of business and management principles, including strategic planning and resource allocation. Demonstrated ability to manage processes effectively to achieve desired outcomes. Capacity to build productive business relationships across functional areas to support shared objectives. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze workflows and processes to enhance service delivery. Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills. Proficient in conducting research related to project issues and products. Ability to learn and apply new technologies effectively. Strong prioritization and task execution skills. Effective written and verbal communication abilities. Competent computer skills.
