About the Role

Hasbro is seeking a highly skilled Digital Marketing Strategist to lead our ambitious digital marketing strategy for our AAA console/PC video games. This outstanding opportunity allows you to foster vibrant gaming communities, drive meaningful engagement, and use social platforms to improve brand dedication and reach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a social media strategy for Hasbro's AAA titles, ensuring consistent messaging, fostering gaming communities, building influencer relationships, and aligning with broader marketing and feedback loops.
  • Implement community engagement initiatives to deepen player connections, establish real-time management of feedback and trends, and build partnerships to expand Hasbro gaming communities' reach.
  • Collaborate to run media campaigns, optimize content for search, and coordinate CRM strategies to drive user acquisition, engagement, and align with social and community efforts.
  • Define and track key social media and community performance metrics using analytics to modify approaches as needed; report on community growth, engagement metrics, and player sentiment to provide actionable insights; and assess media spend and its value to optimize campaigns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and foster external agency and partner relationships to ensure cohesive execution across all marketing channels.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience in social media, community management, or digital marketing, with at least 5 years leading teams in the video game industry.
  • Deep understanding of gaming culture, trends, and the needs of AAA game players.
  • Proven track record of building and growing engaged gaming communities across multiple platforms.
  • Experience managing performance media campaigns and SEO/CRM strategies.
  • Data-driven with experience using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Sprout Social, etc.) to measure success.
  • Strong knowledge of digital advertising platforms, tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM software, SEO tools), and trends in the gaming space.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with creative, product, and external agency teams.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Evidence of ability to persuade, influence and negotiate.
  • Ability to write effective briefs including ability to probe and challenge.
  • Experience writing and delivering effective presentations.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
