About the Role:

The Head of Novartis Corporate Center Mexico City is a key leadership position responsible for driving the strategic direction and growth of the corporate center. This role entails providing leadership direction to a multi-divisional and multi-functional site, overseeing all aspects of the site strategy, and enhancing enterprise value by translating the company's strategy into action.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership of the Novartis Corporate Center in Mexico City, with a focus on promoting growth, leadership development, and executive committee engagement.
  • Development of a 3-5 year strategic plan and annual plan, driving the annual plan process concurrent with global planning cycles.
  • Engagement with senior executives to pursue site capability and enterprise value development opportunities.
  • Performance on productivity and competitiveness, measured against internal goals and external benchmarks.
  • Management of relevant risk, compliance, and controls environment, as well as local statutory requirements on all areas of operations.
  • High employee engagement, engagement surveys, and bolstering successful people initiatives to support strategic growth, retention, and development of employees.
  • Ensuring continued investment in activities that promote strong brand equity of Novartis as an employer of choice.
  • Achievement of USD budget for site operations, with overall responsibility for monitoring financial compliance and adherence to budgets.
  • Building and maintaining collaborative relationships with current and emerging external partners in pursuit of innovation in current and emerging NOCC capability areas.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of proven operational experience in business leadership, technology leadership, or business services leadership in global organizations.
