Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure conformity of quality requirements to production processes.
  • Provide technical support to development teams to ensure test requirements are met in manufacturing.
  • Conduct risk analysis to identify and mitigate potential quality issues.
  • Validate product quality within component tolerances and collaborate with development and quality assurance teams.
  • Support value stream initiatives to improve product technical issues and product release processes.
  • Participate in new product introductions and collaborate with manufacturing planning teams.
  • Develop and implement APQP planning, including EWAK runs, Pre-PV's PV, and SOP.
  • Develop training materials for technicians and product focus, including failure mode analysis.

Production Support:

  • Align with value stream key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Design procedures, instructions, and training materials for analyst technicians.
  • Ensure manufacturing process compliance with engineering principles, customer requirements, and Bosch standards.
  • Train and instruct production and technical personnel.
  • Analyze and identify product characteristics deviated due to product/raw material variation to avoid/reduce metrics impact.
  • Define margin samples for quality criteria according to risk analysis and development confirmation product quality within material variation with development and quality assurance teams.
  • Evaluate risk on concession via quality procedures.

New Product / New Processes:

  • Collaborate on the process to define, acquire, transfer, accept, validate, release, and install production processes and equipment for failure analysis according to Bosch standards.
  • Develop and implement APQP planning, including EWAK runs, Pre-PV's PV, and SOP.
  • Participate in new product introductions and collaborate with manufacturing planning teams.
  • Collaborate with lead plant/development teams on manufacturing process definition, product handling, cycle time, hardware design, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
  • Advanced English language skills.
  • Knowledge of instrumentation equipment, including oscilloscopes, millimeters, frequency analyzers, counters, DSP cards, data acquisition, test stands, LabVIEW, test sequencers, and virtual instrumentation.
  • Full knowledge of electronics, including analog, digital, and communication protocols (CAN, I2C, and serial asynchronous and synchronous).
  • Vision system concepts.
  • Handling and programming scanners (Data Logic, Cognex, Keyence).
  • High and low-level programming skills (PC programming in C++, C#, and related, object-oriented programming).
  • Computer network skills.
  • Database programming and setup.
  • Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
