Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to support and lead quality, product integrity, and continuous improvement processes and systems aimed to achieve customer satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Ensure proper implementation and lead of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process with our products and manufacturing processes.

• Define and lead projects to improve process, products, and components received at the Plant to improve quality and cost of non-conformance.

• Define and lead process improvement projects to improve plant's indicators (PPM, Warranty Claims, Fill Rate, On-Time Performance, Yield, and Scrap).

**Leadership and Team Management:**

• Lead work's team in the deployment of Eaton's Quality System and Six Sigma Projects at the Plant.

• Work with OPEX and Business Improvement Managers to identify and implement capital projects and cost out related to manufacturing process improvement.

• Monitor performance of processes quality and identify root cause and support with the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

• Ensure timely implementation of corrective actions on opportunities identified at the internal assessment or monthly performance operation review.

**Quality Strategy and Coordination:**

• Lead and develop quality strategy and coordinate cross-functional activities to implement the Eaton Quality system at the Plant in order to achieve operational excellence.

• Participate and provide support in Quality System.

• Support ISO 9001:2015 certification and Eaton Quality System Policies.

• Ensure that processes needed for the quality management system are established, implemented, and maintained.

**Customer Focus and Warranty Claims:**

• Perform and lead Warranty Claim and Failure Mode Investigation and Analysis; resolve warranty issues and promptly respond to customer concerns and requirements.

• Provide quality performance trend analysis and reports key quality and product integrity metrics.

• Provide insight and feedback related to product performance to the Manufacturing Engineering and Product Engineering groups.

**Safety and Environmental:**

• Execute 100% of monthly safety inspection, in coordination with the MESH Coordinator.

• Assist to all EHS training assigned.

• Promote and promulgate all MESH Process and Policies to all employees under his/her supervision and ensure that they are being performed at his/her area/ manufacturing line.

**Qualifications:**

• Bachelor's degree in industrial, electrical, or electromechanical engineering, or other science.

• Minimum experience of 5 years in similar positions.

• Full Bilingual (English/Spanish).

• Preferable: Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.

• Strong skills for problem-solving (8D, Pareto, 5 Why's, A3, etc.).

• Project Management Knowledge.

• Preferable: Certified Quality Engineer (CQE certification).

• Knowledge in the interpretation of ISO 9001 requirements.

• Lead auditor ISO.

• PC knowledge: Minitab, Microsoft Office, MS Project, MS Vision, Access Auto Cad.
