Job Purpose
This role is part of a major project to create a state-of-the-art and future-fit factory that will serve as a model for other sites both internally and externally. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for delivering the project through all stages, from design to commissioning, ensuring that all project KPIs are met and the success is measurable.
Main Responsibilities
As a Technology and Engineering Director, your main responsibilities will include:
- Developing solutions to improve uptime and machine reliability across the manufacturing site.
- Working with the project team to deliver the project from concept to fully operational status.
- Developing Engineering Procedures to ensure best practice for machine maintenance and sharing with the site Engineering team.
- Using your experience and capabilities to give a practical aspect to the project team to deliver effective installation and commissioning of the new line.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Excellent communication skills and a good level of computer literacy.
- Effective communication with all members of the operations team, including engineering, production, safety, and quality teams.
- Experience with APQP tools.
