Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Application Engineer to join our Electrification team. The successful candidate will work on the development of software applications for next-generation electrified systems, collaborating with our System Engineering team and customers to ensure seamless integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop software requirements with customers and align software needs with core teams
  • Participate in simulation, programming, calibration, and testing of hardware test benches or HIL systems
  • Support product validation activities, internal reviews, and customer meetings
  • Travel nationally and internationally for customer on-site support

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mathematics, Physics, Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Automotive Engineering
  • Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, or Physics (plus)
  • Advanced English language skills (TOEFL min. Score of ITP 585 / iBT 84, CEFR level B2-C1)
  • Minimum 3-7 years of experience in embedded software development in the automotive environment
  • Strong knowledge of C/C++ language for micro-controllers or SOC's (Infineon)
  • Proficient with Matlab/Simulink in an Autocode environment
  • Good understanding of Classic AutoSAR, SW Architectures, and interfaces
  • Knowledge or working experience with cross-compiler and tool chain
  • Experience in Automotive embedded Software Development (V Model, Agile)
  • Excellent communication ability in English (written & verbal)
  • Ability to interact with individuals and departments throughout different Business Units
