Job Overview

The Senior Manager of Solution Consulting leads a virtual team of Solution Consultants, focusing on strategic planning and revenue growth for the sub-regional sales organization. This role demands a seasoned leader who can develop and execute comprehensive technical strategies to optimize license revenue across the Genesys suite of products.

Main Responsibilities

  • Direct and develop a team of Solutions Consultants, encompassing recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and career growth opportunities.">
  • Collaborate with sub-regional sales leadership to shape and refine strategic plans.">
  • Work closely with Account Teams to drive revenue growth (GAP) for the region.">
  • Drive the adoption and execution of SMART methodology.">
  • Develop educational programs, certifications, and professional growth opportunities for team members.">
  • Prioritize and manage team resources to meet escalating demands.">
  • Partner with Channel Management to foster partner enablement.">
  • Ensure team adherence to established processes and procedures.">
  • Contribute to cross-functional department initiatives, including Product Management, Professional Services, and Marketing.">
  • Coordinate with Professional Services to ensure seamless handovers and deployments on direct and indirect engagements.">
  • Solve intricate problems by engaging multiple cross-functional stakeholders.">
  • Promote the sale of Genesys products.">
  • Engage in strategic and tactical planning for the division.">
  • Develop and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue.">
  • Establish and achieve monthly territory forecasts.">
  • Manage escalations within the sub-region.">
  • Create a Leadership platform for the sub-region.">
  • Conduct regular progress meetings with SC teams.">
  • Maintain open communication channels with team members.">
  • Demonstrate expertise in Genesys solutions.">
  • Present technical aspects of the Genesys solution.">
  • CaaS/Premise/Hybrid and Hosted solution experience.">
  • Support the development of short-, medium-, and long-term plans to achieve strategic objectives.">
  • Foster collaboration with senior management or executives to ensure objectives are met.">
  • Influence decision-making or secure buy-in from key stakeholders in sensitive situations.">
  • Elevate team performance by ensuring they adhere to the highest standards in areas like information gathering, corporate messaging, responding to RFI/RFPs, and staying abreast of industry trends.">

Requirements

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree.">
  • 7-10+ years of experience in pre-sales roles.">
  • 5+ years of management/team lead experience.">
  • Proven track record in working with enterprise application software solutions in pre-sales roles.">
  • Contact Center/CX experience preferred.">
  • Ability to work under pressure with competing priorities.">
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.">
  • Effective conflict resolution and team building skills.">
  • Previous experience hiring and building pre-sales teams is an asset.">
  • Ability to manage professionals through coaching, mentoring, and skill development.">
  • Capacity to set clear objectives and direction for teams.">
  • Must be a team player with strong Leadership skills.">
  • Willingness to travel.">
  • Knowledge of Genesys solutions highly valued.">
  • Ability to hire and train new Solutions Consultants.">
  • Results-driven achiever and team player willing to thrive in a dynamic environment.">
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.">
