About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at Siemens Energy. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in building and overseeing our financial operations from the ground up.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the financial landscape of a new entity carved out from a large corporation. If you are passionate about numbers, enjoy a challenge, and have a keen eye for detail, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and coordinate regional reporting of financials and KPIs for LATAM, EMEA, and Asia Pacific
  • Analyze financial data and KPIs to recommend optimization potential
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
  • Prepare and publish timely financial statements
  • Manage the preparation of regulatory reporting
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  • Build controlling, develop KPIs, and reporting frameworks with the Global Head of Controlling
  • Drive performance controlling and continuous improvement programs
  • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field, MA preferred
  • At least 5 years of experience
  • Strong analytical capabilities to assess financial data and KPIs
  • Proven working experience as a Controller, ideally in a carve-out or startup environment
  • Thorough knowledge of controlling principles and procedures
  • Experience with creating financial statements
  • Experience with Tableau, Alteryx, Mendix, SAP user and administration skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to recommend optimization strategies, accuracy, and attention to detail
