About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Housekeeping Coordinator to join our team at The St. Regis Kanai Resort Riviera Maya.

Job Summary

This is a full-time opportunity that requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as attention to detail and ability to multitask. As a Housekeeping Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Run sold room reports and verify room status to ensure accurate cleaning schedules.
  2. Determine discrepant rooms and prioritize room cleaning to meet high standards of cleanliness.
  3. Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities, including preparing and distributing room assignments to Housekeeping staff.
  4. Record, monitor, and update lists of 'Do Not Disturb' rooms and ensure that vacant dirty rooms are cleaned by the necessary time.
  5. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in hospitality or related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in housekeeping or related role, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds, stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, and move quickly between tasks.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $40,000 per year, based on location and experience, plus a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
