Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement commodity strategies to ensure best cost, quality supply, and resilience
- Drive and report activities to achieve overall cost productivity and business goals
- Run market-tests, negotiate prices and terms with suppliers
- Work with R&D and Engineering teams to ensure the implementation of Value Analysis and Engineering (VA/VE) measures
- Prepare and present sourcing studies to management
- Facilitate supplier workshops focused on supplier VA/VE, Lean, and EDI to support business productivity goals
- Work with suppliers and divisional teams to increase value, quality, delivery performance, and technology solutions to the business
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Economics
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement/Supply Chain
- Commodity experience in Cardboard, Metals, and Thermoplastics
- Extensive experience in driving productivity through VA/VE and Contract Negotiation
- Travel (25%) is required
- Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint knowledge is essential
- 3-year experience in SAP/BW/ARIBA and Procurement Transaction knowledge
- Extensive experience developing category long-term strategies
- Fully bilingual in English (oral and written)
- Work experience in the Bath & Kitchen industry is preferred
