Job Title: EHS Coordinator

Outset Medical is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented EHS Coordinator to join our team. As an EHS Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees, customers, and the environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs and policies in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Lead safety brigades and conduct training exercises to educate employees on health and safety procedures.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to design effective strategies to ensure employee health and safety.
  • Develop and manage emergency response plans and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Environmental Health and Safety, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in EHS function in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, including STPS and NOMS.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products.
  • Ability to conduct safety audits, inspections, and investigations.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Industrial Hygienist, Professional Ergonomist, or IOSH Certification.
  • Experience in the medical manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
