Key Responsibilities- Operational Risk Assessment: Participate in the application of operational risk policies, technology, and tools to create lasting solutions for minimizing losses from failed internal processes, inadequate controls, and emerging risks.
- Risk Mitigation: Contribute to risk assessments and drive actions to address the root causes that persistently lead to operational risk losses by challenging both historical and proposed practices.
- Governance and Oversight: Provide governance and oversight, including technology operational risk, to ensure that our operations are in compliance with regulatory policies and procedures.
- Control Environment: Evaluate the control environment to ensure that appropriate controls are in place to mitigate operational risks.
- Coordination and Compliance: Coordinate audits, examinations, and deliverable requirements from internal and external reviewers, and ensure that our operations team is in compliance with all regulatory policies and procedures.
- Project Management: Ensure project completion, special assignments, and other ad hoc activities as required.
- Experience: 5-8 years of relevant experience in operational risk management or a related field.
- Education: Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, customer-focused with excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work well in a team environment, and demonstrated understanding of operational risk and gap identification.
