Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Consultant to join our Property & Casualty Actuarial Consulting Practice as an Actuarial Consultant. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to analyze complex actuarial problems and develop workable solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze loss reserving projects and develop statistical models to estimate potential losses
  • Work with clients to identify business opportunities and challenges
  • Develop and present findings to clients through written reports and presentations
  • Collaborate with other consultants to ensure seamless client communication
  • Review and validate the work of analysts to ensure technical accuracy and integrity

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or a related field
  • Minimum of two actuarial exams passed; additional exam progress towards ACAS/FCAS is preferred
  • 4+ years of actuarial experience in the property and casualty industry, with experience working with large self-insured corporations, captives, (re)insurers, and state regulators
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and industry stakeholders
