Your Role

As a key contributor at the process level, you will oversee the automatic assembly line operations, ensuring the creation of standardized documentation for operational sustainability and adherence to lean manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for automatic assembly lines post-production.
  • Provide operational support to maintain performance metrics, focusing on process enhancement and control adjustments.
  • Guarantee that production lines meet essential requirements, including KPIs, quality standards, training, and documentation.
  • Collaborate across disciplines and with suppliers during the launch and commissioning phases of new or transferred lines to document processes and identify potential improvements early on.
  • Deliver training to maintenance and setup technicians, as well as maintenance engineers, as part of a continuous operational strategy.
  • Facilitate training for manufacturing engineers and trainers on processes and operations, including certification protocols.
  • Conduct process simulations through mockups, layouts, and cycle time analysis as part of ongoing improvement efforts.
  • Analyze engineering changes and implement new part numbers, identifying risks and opportunities prior to launch.
  • Contribute to the achievement of the MBM philosophy.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by management.
  • Adhere to EHS standards to achieve the target of zero accidents and incidents.
  • Collaborate with controls, automation, mechanical design, industrialization, and management to establish standards for new projects.
  • Enhance material flow for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
  • Design floor layouts considering lean manufacturing principles, material distribution, and accessory placement.
  • Actively support IQN and QN problem-solving efforts, providing appropriate tools for optimal solutions.
  • Assist in plant digitalization initiatives as part of the transformation strategy.
  • Document all improvements, critical issues, adjustment instructions, and standard operating procedures.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Ability to understand and interpret electrical diagrams and mechanical drawings.
  • Knowledge of sensors, actuators, automation, motors, and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Experience with core tools such as lean manufacturing, APQP, PFMA, standardized work, 8D, Ishikawa, and Pareto analysis.
  • Familiarity with the SMED tool.
  • Understanding of vision systems, both 2D and 3D.
  • Basic knowledge of laser marking systems.
  • Familiarity with robot operations, including Fanuc, EPSON, or Yaskawa.
  • Basic understanding of ultrasonic welding.
  • Experience with SAP systems.
