">The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting functions of Invenergy's development, construction, and operational assets in Mexico. This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
">You will be part of our Mexico City accounting team, working closely with other finance professionals to ensure accurate and efficient accounting practices. The ideal candidate must be able to analyze financial data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to support business growth.
">Responsibilities

- Financial Statement Preparation">
The Senior Financial Analyst will prepare and review financial statements, including monthly journal entries, to verify account balances for accuracy and reasonableness.
">Closing Process">Complete the month-end closing process and deliver financial statements in a timely manner.
">Account Reconciliation">Prepare account reconciliation workbooks to support balance sheet and income statement balances and activity.
">General Ledger Management">Ensure accuracy of all general ledger information for the entire chart of accounts for all entities for which you would be responsible.
">Journal Entry Preparation">Prepare and review Journal Entries.
">Bank Reconciliation">Support our bank reconciliation process.
">Accounts Payable Support">Support various accounts payable processes, including managing requisition/purchase order process, validating invoices for compliance, preparing invoices for payment, etc.
">Compliance Support">Support Asset Manager and Portfolio Finance Manager to maintain compliance with project debt and equity agreements.
">Audit Support">Assist with annual audit work papers and audit report preparation.
">Policy Development">Contribute to the development of accounting policies and procedures.
">">Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
">Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field">
- 3+ years of relevant experience">
- Bilingual in Spanish and English">
- Multi-Site Organization or Public accounting firm experience preferred">
