Embark on a challenging role as a Supply Chain Risk Management Professional at Ford Motor Company. In this position, you will be responsible for resolving complex issues with production suppliers, ensuring the smooth operation of Ford's Vehicle and Powertrain production plants.

As a key member of the Supply Chain Organization, your primary objective will be to develop and execute risk mitigation strategies aimed at protecting Ford's manufacturing operations. You will work closely with suppliers to identify potential risks and implement corrective actions to prevent disruptions to our production process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate complex supply chain issues and develop creative solutions to minimize vehicle production losses
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve supplier-related problems and improve overall supply chain performance
  • Analyze supplier schedules and their impact on Ford's production plans
  • Assess metrics supporting supplier critical issues or sufficiency plan resolution
  • Communicate complex issue resolutions effectively to leadership

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Operations or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Administration
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, throughput, and program management experience
  • Leadership and communication skills are essential for success in this role
  • Able to prepare and present material to Senior Leadership effectively
  • High level of analytical ability to handle complex problems
  • Familiarity with Supply Chain functions and Ford Systems Knowledge (CMMS, VPP, OTG, & WERS)

Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
