We are seeking a highly skilled GC/HPLC Field Service Engineer to join our team at Agilent. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for installing, implementing, and maintaining company and multi-vendor systems solutions for our customers.
About the Role
This is a full-time position with a weekly schedule that includes the option to work remotely. The role requires travel, approximately 60% of the time, within the CDMX or Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz region.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and optimize hardware/software/network products and configurations at customer sites.
- Diagnose and resolve product performance problems.
- Perform maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventive maintenance and configurations, which may impact product performance.
- Proactively respond to potential equipment issues to prevent unplanned interruption of customers- business.
- Deliver fully integrated solutions, which may include peripherals, communications, operating systems, and applications software.
- Train other field engineers and customers in the solutions.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree within the science field – chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, or similar.
- 1+ years of experience in a similar position or experience as an end user in GC/HPLC systems.
- Experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Verbal and written communication is clear, encouraging, and timely.
- Confirmed English language proficiency in written and speaking skills.
Additional Details
The salary for this position ranges from $65,000 to $95,000 per year, depending on location and additional factors. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and other job-related considerations.
