• Facilitate positive guest experiences with the in-room honor bar, ensuring exceptional service and quality standards are met.
• Inventory honor bar, in-room accessories, and promotional materials, replacing them as needed to maintain optimal presentation and availability.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of each honor bar, adhering to Marriott International's high standards.
• Utilize software and handheld devices to record sales, track inventory, and monitor product levels to prevent stock-out situations.
• Prepare and push a restocking cart to floors where rooms are ready for inventory, ensuring timely restocking.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, addressing any issues or concerns they may have regarding the honor bar operation.
• Communicate effectively with hotel management regarding any honor bar-related issues or concerns.
]• Follow all company and safety policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
• Complete safety training and certifications as required.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, adhering to Marriott International's dress code standards.
• Ensure confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs.
• Thank guests with genuine appreciation, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
• Adhere to quality expectations and standards, striving for excellence in service delivery.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, supporting the team to achieve common goals.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with others, using effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
• Read and visually verify information in various formats, including small print.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, or for an entire work shift, as needed.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, including up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
]• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• No related work experience is required, but relevant experience is a plus.
• No supervisory experience is required.
• No license or certification is required.
