About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tech Product Owner to join our team at S&P Global. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in driving the growth and success of our company.

The Tech Product Owner will be responsible for coordinating with privacy project managers, application technical owners, and business owners to ensure the implementation of cookie banners, DSAR webforms, and workflows. You will also collect and analyze business requirements, translating them into accurate and detailed requirement specification documents and functional specification documents.

In addition, you will develop and maintain reports, metrics, and dashboards, and administer tool features with the highest level of discretion, sensitivity, and integrity in handling confidential information.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with privacy project managers, application technical owners, and business owners to ensure implementation of cookie banners, DSAR webforms, and workflows
  • Collect and analyze business requirements and translate them into accurate and detailed requirement specification documents and functional specification documents
  • Develop and maintain reports, metrics, and dashboards
  • Administer tool features with the highest level of discretion, sensitivity, and integrity in handling confidential information
  • Ability to think logically, critically, and constructively about complex problems, clearly communicate findings of analysis, and propose solutions that address user requirements
  • Effectively communicate through progress reports, user documentation, and formal presentations to teams and management across functions and divisions
  • Participate in cross-functional business and system process improvement
Requirements
  • 6-8 years of IT experience in Product Owner, Product Manager
  • Experience in Data Discovery, Other Data Privacy Technologies, Agile (Scrum) methodology
  • Experience in data visualization tools like Power BI & Tableau is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or Engineering is required, or in lieu, a demonstrated equivalence in work experience
  • Advanced English Skills (conversational and written)
  • Ability to collaborate with business and technology teams to create practical, robust, and scalable architectures and solutions meeting the business and technology goals/strategy of the organization
  • Ability to gather functional and non-functional requirements, design business solutions that meet requirements, and perform data analysis
