Job Overview

At Te Connectivity Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled Sr Mfg & Process Dvl Engineer (Sr Automation Design Eng) to join our team. This role plays a critical part in driving LEANPD driven new product development projects, ensuring excellence in existing manufacturing technologies and methods, and implementing new manufacturing technologies to provide improved process and tolerance control.

Responsibilities
  • Support Product Development in the optimization of designs and piece parts for manufacturability by realizing sample tooling/products/prototypes.
  • Design, develop, and qualify tooling and processes to meet TE quality and production standards.
  • Document all processes and tooling in applicable TE systems.
  • Support supply chain to verify supplier compliance and capability.
  • Initiate and implement programs to continuously improve quality, cost, and cycle time.
  • Adhere to all appropriate specifications, regulatory requirements, and customer requirements.
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience in this role or similar.
  • Fluent English skills.
  • Experience on Design, printed manufacturing (Creo/SolidWorks/AutoCAD).
  • Advanced knowledge in the use of SAP and Microsoft Office.
  • Good project management skills: ability to work on several projects at once.
  • Create competitive strategies and plans.
  • Experience in solving problems for processes and designs.
  • Interpersonal skills, communication, and ability to multitask.
  • Good experience on Design processes and tooling for high speed & power cable development.
  • Signal Integrity experience in testing high speed & Power cables.
