About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to join our team at Siemens Energy. As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments for our managed file space, servers, and platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and operate secure multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments
  • Develop and implement vital ITIL processes, such as Incident Management
  • Collaborate with specialist teams and central IT units to integrate solutions into the corporate context
  • Act as a technical liaison between customers, internal IT departments, and system integrators
  • Responsible for organization's cloud computing infrastructure and costs
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in designing and operating secure multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cloud architecture and implementation features
  • Expertise in metrics and analytics
  • High affinity to modern IT infrastructure and knowledge of current technological trends in IT
  • Validated architecture and service leadership skills according to ITIL practices
  • Technical certification, such as GCP Professional Cloud Architect or AWS Solutions Architect
Preferred Expertise
  • Hands-on experience with administration and operations of Windows/Linux servers
  • Foundational knowledge of Identity Management technologies
  • Familiarity and experience supporting servers/services hosted in Extranet (DMZ), firewall modification, Reverse-Proxy service, and Application Resource Islands
