Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Global Category Manager - Contract Manufacturing to join our team. As a key member of our Global Strategic Sourcing team, you will be responsible for managing global category spend, building short and long-term Contract Manufacturing category strategy, and fostering collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a category strategy that optimizes affordability, availability, agility, and innovation in Contract Manufacturing.
- Manage external relationships with suppliers, including contract negotiations, new product development, and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with the Global Strategic Sourcing team and cross-functional teams to align on long-term strategy, technology roadmap, and risk mitigation.
- Develop and maintain expert knowledge of global supply markets, competitors, and product innovations.
- Build and develop a team of Contract Manufacturing experts to drive global performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Conversational English level.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- 10+ years of experience in sourcing and familiarity with industrial operations.
- Strategic sourcing experience in Contract Manufacturing.
- Experience with strategic sourcing and lean tools.
- Digital dexterity and ability to leverage data.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain strategy and category-specific experience.
- Proven track record of successful leadership, negotiation, and strategic communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, finance, or business.
- MBA or professional certifications (CPM, CPSM, CIRM, CPIM).
- Independently driven problem solver with appetite to address complex challenges in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong business acumen and experience collaborating across various levels within a diverse, global organization.
