We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Procurement Manager to oversee the procurement of materials required for our contract manufacturing operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing material procurement strategies to ensure timely delivery of materials, minimizing downtime, and optimizing material flow.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in materials management, procurement, or supply chain roles within a contract manufacturing environment. You will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to lead teams and manage complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Material Procurement: Develop and execute material procurement strategies to meet production schedules and minimize downtime.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels to ensure the availability of materials while minimizing excess and obsolete stock.
- Supplier Coordination: Collaborate with contract manufacturers to understand their material needs and constraints, manage supplier performance, and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or cost.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in material management and procurement, implement best practices, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in materials management, procurement, or supply chain roles within a contract manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in SAP-BPCS (AS400) and Power BI/Excel.
- Fluent in English.
