The role of a Finance Planning and Analysis (BPA) Manager is key to our success. As a BPA Manager supporting R&D Finance team, you will be trusted to drive financial planning, reporting, and analysis activities within Global R&D to maximize its resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides analytical support, intelligently challenges the status quo, and simplifies/standardizes outcomes.
  • Responsible for monthly variance analysis accompanying concise commentary, delivery of accurate dashboards, and assessment of risks and opportunities.
  • Coordinates the financial planning processes with oversight across all P&L lines, Capex, project direct expenses, and FTEs at Mexico AGS offices.

In this role, a typical day will include:
- Deliver accurate monthly dashboards for the Global R&D organization.
- Subject matter expert on the financial reporting systems and ownership of data integrity (Provides understanding and guidance to the team on system intricacies).
- Drive value creation by simplifying and automating financial planning and analysis.
- Lead month-end and rolling forecast, annual budget, and strategic planning processes, demonstrating business understanding, curiosity, and conveying explanations and actions effectively.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in financial planning & analysis
  • At least 2 years of experience in managerial role
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, accounting/finance; CPA, CMA or MBA preferred.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Project management and leadership skills, ability to work cross-functional and in teams.
  • Experience of working in multicultural / international environment.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills (including the ability to synthesize, simplify, and convey story with clear and concise messages)
  • Take ownership for the work and intelligently challenge the status quo.
  • Ability to understand the bigger picture (e.g., impacts across the business, etc.)
  • Team player able to interact with all levels and interface effectively with global counterparts.
  • Proactivity, attention to detail and quality
  • Problem solving mindset, with a strong passion for driving a simplification agenda.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Desired medium proficiency in Visualization and Data preparation software (e.g. Tableau, Alteryx and Adaptive)

Estimated Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
