About the Role:

Job Summary: S&P Global, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Engineer to join our Infrastructure Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for securing our AWS Cloud database environment in accordance with industry best practices and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud security controls to ensure the security and integrity of our AWS Cloud database environment.
  • Provision and maintain AWS resources, including IAM roles, S3 buckets, and EC2 instances.
  • Review and remediate cloud security violations to ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
  • Maintain cloud and infrastructure governance run books to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Review and implement information security standards to ensure the security and integrity of our AWS Cloud database environment.
  • Generate infrastructure risk metrics to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Manage and respond to internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
  • Monitor infrastructure and cloud compliance to ensure adherence to industry standards and internal policies.
  • Run and maintain OS, network, and firewall patching efficiency reports to ensure the security and integrity of our AWS Cloud database environment.
  • Review privileged access (CyberArk) controls to ensure the security and integrity of our AWS Cloud database environment.
  • Generate CIS compliance levels to ensure adherence to industry standards and internal policies.
  • Validate database backups to ensure the security and integrity of our AWS Cloud database environment.
  • Manage infrastructure disaster recovery and backup, and maintain documentation to ensure the security and integrity of our AWS Cloud database environment.
  • Manage infrastructure cyber incident recovery and maintain documentation to ensure the security and integrity of our AWS Cloud database environment.
  • Liaise with BISO/CISO teams to ensure the security and integrity of our AWS Cloud database environment.
  • Collaborate with corporate cloud teams to ensure the security and integrity of our AWS Cloud database environment.
Requirements:
  • 12 years of relevant work experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience with cloud security scanning tools such as Secure State and WIZ Cloud.
  • Knowledgeable in network segmentation.
  • Familiar with ServiceNow.
