Job Title: Missionary Middle School Social Studies Teacher

Job Summary:

Global Education Ministries (GEM) is seeking a qualified Missionary Middle School Social Studies Teacher to join our team in Mexico. As a missionary teacher, you will have the opportunity to create a positive learning environment, support students academically, spiritually, emotionally, and socially, while also sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and teach Social Studies classes using best practices
  • Assist the school administration in accomplishing academic and spiritual goals
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and the community
  • Actively weave the gospel in instruction and saturate all interactions with students and their families in the truth of the gospel
  • Recruit, fundraise, create policy, and be an ambassador for GEM

Qualifications:

  • A true, genuine faith in Jesus Christ
  • Degree in Secondary Education and Social Studies/History, or related degree
  • Eligibility to work in the US
  • Outgoing and adventurous personality, ready to pursue others for the sake of the gospel
  • Flexibility of schedule
  • Willingness to relocate to Mexico for the duration of the 2-year contract
  • Willingness to fundraise for the ministry
