This position involves working closely with other members of the organization, especially members of Regional Shared Service, Tax teams, and Corporate.
Responsibilities- US GAAP and Local GAAP Compliance: Prepare and record journal entries/adjustments for differences between US GAAP and local GAAP for all Mexico legal entities in SAP.
- Local Annual Adjustments: Keep control of Local Annual Adjustments (reversals & posting for USGAAP).
- Account Reconciliations: Perform BS or P&L account reconciliations for audit purposes or as per needed.
- Statutory Audits: Prepare requested workpapers for any ad-hoc statutory audits and examinations from external or internal inquiries.
- Business Notes: Support on preparations of Business Notes for Financial Statements.
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- 3-5 years related experience in accounting and/or finance.
- Knowledge of US GAAP and local GAAP accounting.
- SAP experience.
- English: intermediate.
