**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Global Software Distribution Analyst to join our team at Teradata. As a key member of our global distribution team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful fulfillment of software orders to our clients worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fulfillment of Software Orders: Ensure timely and accurate delivery of software products to clients globally.
- Order Validation: Verify software order requests against contractual agreements and required approvals.
- Problem Solving: Resolve issues related to global delivery of physical software products, including customs and international shipping.
- System Management: Work with MDM and ERP systems to manage purchase orders, delivery receipts, product validations, and customer issue resolution.
- Communication: Provide cross-functional operational support to sales, logistics, and manufacturer partners, and serve as the point of contact for customer incidents throughout the software delivery process.
- Compliance: Monitor export compliance and Denied Parties List reviews to ensure import/export regulations are followed.
- Metrics and Reporting: Maintain and monitor weekly metrics, including on-time delivery, expedite, and rejection rates, and identify areas for improvement.
- Documentation: Assist in the ongoing documentation of ordering procedures, including analyzing gaps within the order entry processes and participating in the development of new processes or techniques to resolve problems and prevent their re-occurrence.
Requirements:
- Experience: 5+ years in ordering/sales operations, product management, order fulfillment, successful third-party relationships, and analytical/administrative activities.
- Order Management: Basic understanding of order management processes.
- Global Experience: Experience working with globally distributed teams.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills.
- Language: Proficient in the English language.
- Availability: Able and willing to work EST standard hours.
