About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans and forecasts to drive business growth and profitability.

  • Tax Compliance and Planning
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations, including US tax regulations.
    • Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize tax obligations and minimize risk.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis
    • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
    • Provide in-depth analysis and insights to support business decision-making.
  • Cash Flow and Risk Management
    • Manage cash flow and investments to ensure adequate liquidity and profitability.
    • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate foreign exchange, credit, and market risks.
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team to achieve business objectives.
    • Provide coaching, guidance, and support to team members to ensure their success.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership position within a finance team, preferably in the automotive or international manufacturing industry.
    • Experience with US tax calculations and compliance.
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting or a related field.
    • Master's degree in Taxation or Finance is desirable.
  • Skills
    • 100% fluent in English.
    • Knowledge of Mexican and US tax regulations.
