Job Overview

The primary role involves managing and overseeing all financial responsibilities as outlined in the Master Professional Services Agreement (MPSA) established between CEMEX and its Outsourcing Service Providers. This position is crucial to ensure that CEMEX adheres to its financial commitments and contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the accurate and timely execution of contract modifications that impact financial terms in the Pricing Exhibit of the Master Agreement.
  • Monitor and ensure the efficiency of the billing and payment processes between CEMEX and the Service Provider, addressing any potential issues proactively.
  • Track the Business Case by evaluating actual savings against projected savings to ensure financial performance aligns with expectations.
  • Provide the Finance Manager with essential financial insights regarding the contract to support informed decision-making (e.g., changes in scope, delivery centers, rates, cost adjustments).
  • Foster strong relationships with Service Providers to cultivate a collaborative business environment conducive to resolving issues amicably.

Challenges of the Position

  • Conduct thorough analysis and provide explanations for significant variances between actual project performance and the Business Case.
  • Ensure compliance with CEMEX's financial obligations as stipulated in the Master Agreement with the Service Provider.
  • Execute CEMEX's commitments promptly to mitigate the risk of contract breaches that could lead to financial penalties.

Required Qualifications

  • Proficient in English.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
  • Advanced skills in Excel (ability to manage large datasets, create reports, and develop financial models), along with proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Power BI.
  • Strong presentation, management, and communication skills.

  • Collaborate with Corporate Tax Teams, Service Delivery Managers, Treasury Managers, GES teams, P&IT Teams (both corporate and local), and HR Teams.

External

  • Engage with Outsourcing Service Providers and Consultants.
