Key Responsibilities:- Provide supportive leadership, management, and overall organizational planning to the general operations of the program.
- Manage the Operations Team to deliver an efficient and effective program, including base operation, financial management, volunteer coordination and engagement, base logistics, etc.
- Support the Program Director in developing and implementing training and skills development for staff and volunteers.
- Support the Program Director in forecasting, monitoring, and reporting project cash flow, bank transactions, and expense auditing.
- Work with the Logistics Coordinator to organize and manage transport and telecommunications for teams in the field.
- Support the Program Director in the development, implementation, and review of the Health, Safety, and Security procedures for base and sites.
- Responsible for ensuring appropriate communication, training, and rehearsal of contingency plans and organizing periodical risk assessments.
- Support the Program Director in compiling program-specific fortnightly reports for the organization.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years of experience working for All Hands and Hearts or another disaster response organization.
- 1+ years of experience managing teams.
- Experience in project management, including budget tracking, preferred.
- Spanish and English language proficiency.
- Valid driver's license.
- Good written and oral communication skills and confident working with Google Workspace, particularly Google Docs and Google Sheets, and Microsoft Office.
- Constantly works in outdoor adverse weather conditions.
- Frequently moves items weighing up to 40 lbs on the work site or on base.
- Frequently operates construction equipment (table saws, impact drivers, drills, and more).
- Frequently operates a computer.
- Frequently ascends/descends ladders and scaffolding.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position.
- Frequent travel.
- Living in a communal environment.
- High stress situations.
- Pay rate is $1,250 - $1,650 USD/month, based on position, skills, and experience.
- Room and board.
- Monthly R&R breaks with allowance.
- Coverage for emergency medical injury or illness.
- Visa extension reimbursement.
- Travel to and from program location.
- Costs related to COVID-19 entry requirements.
