AECOM is seeking a highly skilled ICT Automation Supervisor to join our team in Santiago de Querétaro, Qro., Mexico.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise the implementation of automation systems and ICT solutions, ensuring timely completion and adherence to technical specifications.
- Coordinate with engineers, technicians, and other supervisors to integrate control and automation systems into daily operations.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of automated systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing technological solutions to optimize project processes.
- Manage network configuration, access control systems, and other critical ICT components.
- Provide technical assistance and support to end-users, ensuring they can utilize the capabilities of implemented systems.
- Identify equipment and systems with long delivery times, assess their impact on the construction program, and coordinate with other disciplines to resolve issues.
- Coordinate logistics for equipment supply and installation, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project schedules.
- Monitor compliance with approved construction programs and update them as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to national regulations and international standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Document and follow up on change orders, whether related to time, cost, or scope.
- Coordinate and resolve interferences for pipeline bank and underground facility installations.
- Maintain technical documentation, user manuals, and training procedures for automation systems and ICT solutions.
- Provide support to project staff in the proper use of automation technologies and cybersecurity practices.
- Supervise the installation and configuration of ICT-related hardware and software, ensuring optimal compatibility and performance.
- Recommend new technologies to improve project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure all ICT and automation activities comply with applicable security standards and legal regulations.
- Ensure quality of work regarding engineering and reception of ICT systems, including material review, testing, approvals, and certificates.
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Information Technology Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Communications and Electronics, or related fields, plus 4 years of experience or demonstrated equivalence.
- Experience in automation systems, access control, system configuration, and integration, ICT, data center, and industrial projects.
- Preference for 6 years of experience in supervising automation and ICT systems.
