**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team at Edag Mexico as a Project Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects, identifying and mitigating risks, and driving process improvements.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Attend critical processes and identify deviations to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
- Develop and implement corrective actions to address issues and improve process efficiency.
- Align process activities with applicable standards to guarantee Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) fulfillment.
- Track and manage documents within the shopfloor to ensure correct implementation and process fulfillment.
- Support suppliers in achieving quality targets defined by customers.
- Track and review action plans, activities, and Lessons Learned to ensure effectiveness.
- Foster a culture of sustainable process optimization and continuous improvement.
**Requirements:**
- Industrial engineer, electronic, mechatronic, or related degree.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in the automotive industry, with knowledge of production technologies, logistics, and quality.
- Strong knowledge of plastic injection class A, exterior painting/anodizing, lighting, and assembly.
- Supplier management and development expertise.
- Knowledge of international standards such as IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, and/or ISO 9001.
- Proficiency in 7 quality tools and core tools (mainly APQP and PPAP).
