Job Summary

The MBU Manager will play a critical role in driving the success of HARMAN International's Manufacturing Business Unit. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the operations and planning functions, ensuring seamless execution of projects and programs. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of driving business growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Manufacturing Business Unit, ensuring efficient and effective execution of projects and programs.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Planning and Scheduling
    • Develop and manage project schedules, resource allocation, and budgeting to ensure timely and within-budget delivery of projects.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
  • Leadership and Development
    • Lead and develop a high-performing team of operations and planning professionals.
    • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members to ensure their growth and development.
  • Customer Focus
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and expectations.
    • Collaborate with customers to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Business Growth and Improvement
    • Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth, improve profitability, and enhance customer satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management, planning, or a related field.
    • Proven track record of driving business growth, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Skills
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
    • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and project management tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Leadership
    • Proven leadership experience in operations management or a related field.
