Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead our assembly process and drive production goals. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing production plans, providing feedback, and ensuring timely and high-quality production at the lowest cost.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement production plans to meet given objectives, including product introduction, equipment efficiency, materials supply constraints, schedules, and staffing requirements.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the production team to execute to quality, schedule, and cost expectations.
- Implement and execute specific components of quality improvement, Lean, and Six Sigma programs to reduce cost and waste within production.
- Accountable for implementing given schedules and expenditure constraints for direct and indirect labor, and plan details of staffing and labor around given priorities.
- Develop and execute daily plans to meet production needs, and improve productivity by implementing best practices.
Requirements:
- Engineering bachelor's degree in manufacturing, electronic, mechanical, or related field, and 9 years of prior relevant experience, or Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
- English language proficiency - 90%.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in leadership roles.
- Relevant experience leading a Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing process.
- Strong project planning, communication skills, and resource management skills.
- Ability to work across the organization and various disciplines, including Engineering, Operations, Program Office, and Business Development.
- Experience running multiple complex projects and integrated cross-functional teams.
- Conflict resolution and negotiating skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Collaborative leadership behaviors that emphasize high goal setting, team empowerment, and providing support.
- Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Preferred experience in Electronic and Aerospace industry.
