**Key Responsibilities:**
• Provide leadership and direction to the engineering team to ensure the successful implementation of projects and achievement of departmental goals.
• Manage and oversee the daily work of the manufacturing and electrical test engineering team, ensuring a high level of productivity and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the NPI team to ensure a smooth transition of projects and support from the engineering team.
• Coordinate engineers in the review, presentation, and implementation of capital projects for process improvements.
• Assign resources efficiently, including personnel, equipment, and budget, to achieve project and metric goals.
• Supervise the implementation of quality and customer requirements, ensuring all products meet these standards.
• Participate in upper management communication forums to present projects and metrics.
• Identify development needs for the team and provide training and growth opportunities.
• Ensure ERP consistency related to capacity, routings, and BOMs.
• Supervise safety remediation projects on equipment and mitigate any potential impact on the process.
**Requirements:**
• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• +5 years of experience in a management position with a manufacturing environment (preferably electronics).
• Strong knowledge of IPC-A-610, IPC-7711/21, and IATF 16949, and project management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish, leadership skills, proactive, self-driven, strong organization, and analytical thinking.
