**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Packaging Engineer to join our team. This role will involve analyzing requirements, developing packaging concepts, and managing samples to ensure compliance with customer standards. The successful candidate will also be responsible for requesting quotes, creating packaging instructions, and updating information in customer portals.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Analyze requirements and request information from sales, customers, and suppliers to create action plans
- Develop packaging concepts for new products, considering logistics and material flow
- Manage samples to finalize packaging drawings and obtain customer requirements
- Request quotes from purchasing areas for new projects to meet internal requirements
- Create and validate packaging instructions with suppliers and customers
- Update packaging information in customer portals (Honda, Stellantis, Ford, GM, Toyota, VW)
- Calculate packaging costs for all products (suppliers and customers)
- Propose packaging projects to reduce logistics costs
**Requirements**
- Engineer or Industrial Engineer degree
- 3+ years of experience in a similar position
- Packaging concepts and logistics/material flow expertise
- English language proficiency (70%+)
- SAP and MS Office skills
**Benefits**
